The “shot and cut film” is a technique used in filming training : you shoot directly all you want to show in an order that won’t change : there is no editing afterwards.
It’s a great narrative training ! You have to be careful to what you want to tell and be able to capture it at the right time.
I was briefly back from Brussels in Paris and I filmed Tom as we were visiting our grand-mother. At the age of 6, he was still discovering what doing his homeworks meant. Through this, I also tried to capture his relationship with our mother.
N.B: Firefox user, beware: the browser loads all the video before playing it and tends to change the aspect ratio of the videos… I recommend browsing via Safari or Chrome…
