Estropia

Contexte

First game made at ENJMIN.
Inside a factory, a robot breaks his legs and begins to use it as a flute. Seen as obsolete by the factory’s authorities, he has to escape if he doesn’ want to be destroyed. On his way, he meets a little capricious creature charmed by his music. They have to work together if they want to progress towards freedom.

For this drill, we had one month to use a soft called GameMaker, and make a complete video game with a ten person team.

Le gameplay

It’s a plateformer game. The player controls the robot in levels without scrolling. He can move him with the keyboard’s arrows, jump with the up arrow, plays the flute by pressing the space bar and can hit the creature with the ctrl button.
The creature has several mood states. If the robot plays music, she’ll be happier but if he hits her, her moods dicrease. Those different mood states will help the player move on the twelve levels.
